XII is compiled by several English teachers in Surabaya who are grouped in Surabaya

English Teacher Association (MGMP Bahasa Inggris SMA Kota Surabaya). This book is

basically made to enable students to do several practices to assess the students‘

competency, check and measure their understanding of English materials presented

in class. This book provides various texts suggested by Kurikulum 2013 yang

disempurnakan. Every chapter begins with a brief explanation of the material then

followed by various exercises which cover all language skills (listening, reading,

writing, and speaking).

This book is designed as the supplement of their main book (book published

by Departemen Pendidikan Nasional). It means that the book tries to support and

add the materials provided in their main book.

We would like to thank the teachers, supervisor, whoever we can not

mention one by one who have helped us give their valuable advice and suggestions

for the improvement of the book.
